This elegant openwork basket features a classic reticulated body with rectangular piercings, a rope-moulded rim, and twin twisted handles, all finished in a glossy white glaze. The base bears a hand-written blue underglaze export mark reading “Holland” with factory and shape numbers, typical of Dutch post-war export ceramics. The piece is attributed to Royal Goedewaagen of Gouda based on form, construction, and marking style, a well-known Dutch pottery producing similar white wares during this period.
