Beautiful antique L. Straus & Sons tureen with matching lid in the rare “Garfield” pattern, dating to around 1887. This elegant brown transferware design features detailed floral and medallion motifs, typical of Victorian-era tableware.
The tureen is in excellent antique condition overall with age-related signs of wear consistent with its age. No chips or crazing to the base, and the pattern remains clear and vibrant. The lid has a single hairline crack, which appears stable and does not affect the fit or general presentation.
