Wm Brownfield and Sons were manufacturers of earthenware and porcelain from 1837 to 1900 at Cobridge in Staffordshire.
On the back of both the soup plate and the platter are impressed date marks. There are also impressed marks for Wm Brownfield and Sons "Ivory" with registration lozenge also impressed.
Plate is in very good antique condition for their age with no chips or cracks. There is, however, a minor amount of crazing on the soup plate.
