Pretty little tea bowl crisply printed in dark blue with the Chinese-style Pagoda pattern, with gilded rim and foot.
Offered in near perfect condition, with just a little wear to the rim gilding.
Marked 7 on base.
Fine soft-paste porcelain wares were produced at the Caughley factory between 1775 and 1799.
The range of goods produced included tea services, dinner services and everyday objects to be used in middle class households of the late 18th century. Mainly produced in underglaze blue, Caughley porcelain remains both decorative and very collectable.
